Welcome our resident music ensemble Ångström Brass.  This talented ensemble will be in residence at the Cathedral through May 2015. Click here for information about upcoming performances and information about the ensemble.

Taize Evening Prayer has been a welcomed prayer experience for many parishioners and visitors during the Lenten season.  Due to the positive feedback and experience, we will continue this (ecumenical) contemplative prayer experience starting Wednesday, April 15th at 6pm in the Cathedral Chapel. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO JOIN US FOR A BREATH OF FRESH PRAYER!  The service lasts about 40 minutes.

Welcome to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

Dear Members and Friends of the Cathedral Parish:

One of the most vivid scriptural images for the Church is that of the human body. St. Paul states, “The body is one and has many members, but all the members, many though they are, are one body; and so it is with Christ. You then, are the body of Christ. Every one of you is a member of it.” (I Cor. 12:12; 27) Most of us would agree his message is very clear!

Like the universal Church, but on a smaller scale, the Cathedral Parish is the body of Christ operating on the local level. We are comprised of many members from different walks of life and we represent a rich variety of ethnic heritages. We are from differing socio-economic backgrounds and come from numerous communities on both sides of the state line.

Those who are regular visitors to the Cathedral are invited to make the Cathedral Parish their worship home.  There is a REGISTER link on the menu on the right of this page.

I welcome you to our home on the web. Here you will find a great deal of useful information about our community and ministries.
